The woman, identified as Mamta, was yesterday admitted to the CHC where a doctor examined her and assured the family members of safe delivery as her condition was reported to be normal, they said.
The woman complained of labor pain following which a doctor on call was called. He examined her and referred her to a district government hospital in Baran, the police said.
The doctor asked the family members to take her to a district hospital as a possibility of the survival of the unborn child still existed, they said.
On a complaint filed by the family members of the woman, a case for committing negligence in treatment was lodged against the doctor at the CHC, SHO Jagdish Prasad Meena said.
