Pregnant woman held with illicit liquor

A 33-year-old pregnant woman was arrested for allegedly possessing illicit liquor in Vishwas Nagar area of east Delhi, police said today.
"On March 30, the accused was caught for having possession of four cartons of illicit liquor covered with a bed spread outside her house in Vishwas Nagar," Shahdara DCP Nupur Prasad said.
Four cartons of illicit liquor containing 192 quarter bottles with "for sale in Haryana only" tags on them were seized from her, she said.
During investigation it was found was also named in some cases earlier.
"She got bail citing her pregnancy as a reason," the DCP said.
