Prem Singh Mehra appointed Rajasthan's election commissioner

The Rajasthan government has appointed senior IAS officer Prem Singh Mehra as state election commissioner.
Mehra, a 1987-batch IAS officer, took charge last evening.
He will hold the post for five years or till the age of 65, whichever is earlier.
Mehra was principal secretary finance, excise and taxation before this appointment.
