Many high profile visitors from industry from India and abroad are expected to attend the summit and address the participants, it said, adding delegations from many countries are also expected to grace the occasion.
To assist the visitors attending the summit in a seamless manner, the state government has planned to provide a liaison officer along with a security officer, giving them a vehicle to take the visitors to the summit and help them reach the place where arrangements have been made for their stay, the release said.
One such training-cum sensitisation workshop is organised for designated liaison officers from Industries, Mines and Geology Department with the department Director K Ravi Kumar emphasizing on prospective role of liaison officers during the preparation of GIS.
With every detail being discussed in length pertaining to the summit which may be helpful in creating atmosphere conducive to investment in Jharkhand, Kumar also elaborated about the responsibilities of liaison officers towards the logistic arrangement during GIS.
"Since it is the first time that the summit is being organised in the state, we all should take pride in supporting the event and put out best to project the state's efforts in right perspective," he said, adding liaison officer to update their knowledge towards investment initiatives undertaken by the Jharkhand government.
About 150 officers from the department of Industry, Mines and Geology participated in the workshop.
