A presentation on traffic, transport and security for the ensuing international motor race was made by Sports organising committee to the IIDC in presence of Chief Executive Officer of NOIDA, Rama Raman, Secretary, Infrastructure and Industrial Development, Sanjay Prasad besides police and district administration officials.
Directing the government officials and event organising committee to remove all bottlenecks for smooth flow of traffic and transport to and fro from BIC, Gupta said that F1 race was a major international sporting event of India and attracted enthusiasts from India and abroad to the state.
He added that educating the public about routes and facilities available, tickets, parking area and 'do's & don'ts' was very important to avoid confusion and advertisements in newspapers be given to publicise the relevant information through banner and posters.
Officials from sports organising committee were asked to coordinate with Noida-Greater Noida Authorities to enable free traffic flow through this route.
