The running shields and award were presented at a function held recently at Rashtrapati Bhawan, New Delhi by the President, a release from Red Cross said today.
Mangala Prasad Mohanty, Honorary Secretary of the Indian Red Cross Society, Odisha State Branch received two running shields and award from the President, it said.
Apart from this Mohanty received the "Award of Merit - 2011-12" in appreciation of his devoted service to the humanitarian cause of the Red Cross from the President, the release added.
