'Uniki' (Being or Existence) is a compilation of various articles authored by Rao and published by various Telugu newspapers and news magazines during 1975-2015.
The 479-page book offers glimpses into the public life of Rao, especially his transformation from being a student leader in Osmania University to the present day, a Raj Bhavan spokesperson said here today.
There are 89 articles in the book dealing with a range of contemporary social, political and economic issues. Some stories and poems penned by Rao while imprisoned under the MISA in the Central Prison at Warangal in Telangana during the Emergency in 1975 have also been incorporated.
A few articles are based on the chapters from 'My Country, My Life', an autobiographical by senior BJP leader Lal Krishna Advani, the spokesperson said.
There are also references to his work in the Legislative Assembly of the undivided Andhra Pradesh.
Rao was a practicing lawyer before becoming Member of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly in 1985. He was also the floor leader of BJP in the Assembly.
