Prestige Estates Q3 net profit nosedives 76% to Rs 68 cr

Realty firm Prestige Estates Projects today reported per cent decline in its consolidated net profit at Rs 68.3 crore for the quarter ended December 2016.
Its net profit stood at Rs 278.9 crore in the year-ago period, the company said in a regulatory filing.
The company's income from operations, however, rose to Rs 1,234.07 crore in the third quarter, from Rs 1,041.62 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year.
Total income increased to Rs 1,253.52 crore from Rs 1,252.44 crore during the period under review, the Bengaluru-based developer said.
