Three works by Sasmita Mishra Sahu were put on display at a week-long exhibition inaugurated yesterday at the Xu Yu gallery in Song Zhuang artist village.
The exhibition titled "Performance Language in Serigraphs" focuses on prints (silk and wood) and has been organised by China's Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA), the country's official body for the promotion of art.
Sasmita, wife of senior Indian diplomat Arun Sahu is the only foreign entry at the event.
Sasmita earlier studied fundamentals of paintings and drawings with British abstract painter David Lenndrum at Southwark College, London and later at the Prints Department at CAFA here.
