Prez congratulates Asian Games medal winners

President Pranab Mukherjee today congratulated women sportspersons from the country who won medals at the ongoing Asian Games in South Korea.
Mukherjee congratulated Ritu Rani and her team of Indian women Hockey for winning the Bronze medal; Tintu Lukka for winning Silver medal in the women's 800m and Annu Rani for winning Bronze medal in the women's Javelin Throw.
In his message to the captain of the women's Hockey team, the President said, "This is a great achievement for our women and should inspire all women of India to aspire for success in whatever areas they are working in. I wish you and the entire team every success in the future."

Similarly, in his individual messages to winners in Athletics, the President said, "You have done India proud through this achievement and your success is an example of what can be accomplished through hard work and dedication.
"I wish you the very best for all future endeavours," he said.
