President Ram Nath Kovind will arrive here Monday on a two-day visit to Himachal Pradesh during which he will take part in various programmes, an official spokesperson said on Sunday.
The President accompanied by the first lady Savita Kovind will arrive at Gaggal airport in Kangra district at 10.30 am, he said.
Governor of the hill-state Acharya Devvrat, chief minister Jai Ram Thakur and minister in waiting Kishan Kapoor would receive Kovind at the airport, he added.
Subsequently, the president will reach Dr. Rajendra Prasad Government Medical College (RPGMC) Tanda in Kangra to take part in its first convocation and give away eleven gold medals to eight meritorious students, he said.
A total of 110 students will be given degrees, the official said, adding that Kovind will also address the gathering.
On Tuesday, the President will present degrees to the students of Himachal Pradesh University (HPU) during its 24th convocation function in the state capital Shimla.

HPU vice chancellor Sikander Kumar said degrees to 400 gold-medalists and PhD holders of 2015-16 and gold-medalists of 2016-17 academic sessions would be given.
The chief minister visited Tanda Sunday evening to review preparations for the President's visit.
