In the letter, the five ministers of Sena stated that they have been raising the issue of rising prices of pulses in the last three cabinet meetings.
As per the letter, the ministers were assured in the cabinet meeting that government will take steps to bring down the prices of pulses to Rs 120 per kg.
However, that has not been the case so far, the letter stated.
Uddhav, while campaigning for the recently-concluded Kalyan-Dombivali municipal corporation election, had last week directed his ministers to raise the issue of price rise at the next cabinet meeting.
Meanwhile, senior Sena leader and Environment Minister Ramdas Kadam has once again targetted Observer Research Foundation (ORF) chairman Sudheendra Kulkarni over his recent visit to Pakistan.
"Is Kashmir the property of Pakistan? Kashmir is an integral part of India. People like Sudheendra Kulkarni go to Pakistan and raise Kashmir issue there. You ask the Chief Minister. Our stand is anti-Pakistan and they are nurturing snakes like these," he said.
