Marketmen said besides pick-up in demand from retailers, restricted supplies from producing belts mainly led to the rise in prices of select pulses.
In the national capital, masoor small and bold moved up by Rs 100 each to Rs 5,650-5,850 and Rs 5,650-5,950 per quintal, respectively.
Its dal local and best quality enquired higher by a similar margin to Rs 6,700-6,800 and Rs 6,800-6,900 per quintal, respectively.
Malka local and best quality followed suit and shot up by Rs 100 each to Rs 6,800-7,100 anbd Rs 7,000-7,100 per quintal, respectively.

Gram, gram dal local and best quality were enquired higher by Rs 100 each to Rs 3,800-4,425 and Rs 4,100-4,300 and Rs 4,200-4,500 per quintal respectively. Besin Shaktibhog and Rajdhani quoted higher at Rs 1,720 each instead of 1,700 per 35 kg respectively.
