Prices of thoor dal, urad dal
decrease and sugar moved up, while other commodities ruled steady in the wholesale foodgrain market here today.
Thoor dal move down by Rs.100 per quintal to Rs.7,800 from its previous rate of Rs.7,900.
Urad dal decreased by Rs.100 per quintal to Rs.8,900 from its closing rate of Rs.9,000.
Sugar went up by Rs.50 per quintal to Rs.4,300 from Rs.4,250 respectively.
Moong dal, Gram dal, Wheat, Maida and Sooji maintained the same level.
Following are the wholesale rates of various agri-commodities (rates in rupees per quintal, unless stated otherwise): Thoor Dal Rs 7,800, Urad Dal Rs 8,900, Moong Dal Rs 6,700, Gram Dal Rs 7,000, Sugar Rs 4,300, Wheat Rs 2,900, Maida (90 kg) Rs 2,700 and Sooji (90 kg) Rs 3,200.
