Prices of urad dal, gram dal fall

Prices of urad dal and gram dal decreased while the rates of other commodities ruled steady at the wholesale foodgrains market here during the week under review.
Urad dal opened the week at Rs 14,900 and the price ruled steady till Wednesday and it dropped by Rs 400 per quintal to Rs 14,500 on Thursday and closed the week at the same rate.
Gram dal opened the week at Rs 6,200 and it remained at the same price till Wednesday and decreased by Rs 200 since Thursday and remained at te same level during the week end.
Prices of thoor dal (Rs 14,500), Moong dal (Rs 10,000), sugar (Rs 3,400),wheat (Rs 3,000), maida (90 kg)(Rs 2,500) and sooji (90 kg) (Rs 3,200) ruled steady throughout the week.
