dal,gram dal,maida and sooji decreased while that of thoor dal increased in the wholesale foodgrains markets here today.
Thoor dal rose by Rs.300 per quintal to Rs.6,800 from its previous rate of Rs.6,500.
In contrast, moong dal declined by Rs.300 per quintal to Rs.6,700 from Rs.7,000.
Likewise, Gram dal and urad dal went down by Rs.200 and Rs.100 per quintal each to Rs.6,700 and Rs.7,800 from its last week's closing rate of Rs.6,900 and Rs.7,900 respectively.
In addition, Maida (90 kg) and Rs.Sooji (90 kg) moved down by Rs.100 each to 2,500 and Rs.3,100 from its previous rate of Rs.2,600 and Rs.3,200 respetively.
Following are the wholesale rates of various agri-commodities (rates in rupees per quintal, unless stated otherwise): Thoor Dal Rs 6,800, Urad Dal Rs 7,800, Moong Dal Rs 6,700, Gram Dal Rs 6,700, Sugar Rs 4,000, Wheat Rs 2,700, Maida (90 kg) Rs 2,500 and Sooji (90 kg) Rs 3,100.
