Prices remain steady on small buying

Quiet conditions developed at the wholesale Jaggery market in the national capital today following sporadic buying support.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also closed on previous levels on little doings.
Marketmen said small buying support and restricted supply from manufacturing regions, mainly held prices around overnight levels.
The following are today's rates per quintal:
Gur chakku 2,800-2,900, pedi 2,850-2,950, dhayya 2,900- 3,000 and shakkar 3,100-3,200.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket 2,500-2,550, chakku 2,675-2,850, khurpa 2,450-2,500 and Ladoo 2,500-2,600.
Muradnagar: Pedi 2,500-2,550 and dhayya 2,500-2,550.
