Traders said some demand from retailers mainly led to rise in moong and its dal prices while adequate stocks position against lack of demand kept pressure on arhar.
Moong and its dal chilka local rose Rs 200 each to Rs 6,300-6,800 and Rs 7,100-7,600 per quintal respectively. Its dal best quality and dhoya were up by a similar margin to Rs 7,100-7,400 and Rs 7,900-8,000 per quintal.
On the other hand, arhar and its dal dara variety eased by Rs 100 each to Rs 9,300-9,500 and Rs 10,800-10,900 per quintal respectively.
