Priest killed, ashtadhatu idol stolen from temple

A 65-year-old priest was killed and an ashtadhatu idol of Laxman was stolen from a temple in Kariyav village under Mirganj police station area here.
The priest, Chandra Giri, was found dead in Ram-Janki temple and the idol was missing when the devotees visited the temple this morning, police said.
The priest had injuries on the head, police said, adding that investigations were on.
