Prime Minister Modi to be given a grand welcome tomorrow: CM

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is will be arriving here tomorrow to participate in the three-day Pravasi Bharatiya Divas which is schedule to begin from January 8, Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel said.
The Chief Minister also said upon his arrival, Modi would be given a grand reception at the airport
"Narendrabhai will inaugurate the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas (PBD) January 8 morning. He will land here at around 9 pm tomorrow. We will give him a grand reception at the airport," Patel said.
She said Modi would inaugurate the 'Dandi Kutir' at Mahatma Mandir at around 8.30 am and inaugurate the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas at around 10 am.
"He will leave after lunch," Patel said.
Pravasi Bharatiya Divas is scheduled to held between January 7 and January 9, while the Vibrant Gujarat Summit is scheduled be held between January 11 and January 13 at Mahatma Mandir. Modi is scheduled to inagurate the Vibrant Gujarat Summit on January 11.

The Gujarat state BJP unit has already swung into action and planned a grand reception for Modi at the airport.
"When the Prime Minister who is the pride of Gujarat as well India is coming to Ahmedabad, BJP workers, citizens and numerous well wishers will give him a grand welcome here. Apart from them, several state ministers, BJP office bearers and many local leaders will greet him," Gujarat state BJP spokesperson I K Jadeja said.
"Pravasi Bharatiya Divas is being organised here for the first time, while the Vibrant Gujarat Summit was initiated by Narendra Modi in 2003. For his contribution, we will give him a grand welcome at the airport tomorrow night. He will fly back on January 8 and return on January 11," Jadeja said.
