Prime Minister's merit scholarship to wards of ex servicemen

Children of ex servicemen (personnel below officer ranks) who have scored 60 per cent marks and above in the qualifying examination and are doing professional courses would be awarded the Prime Minister's Merit scholarship during the academic year 2015-2016.
A release from the Department of Sainik Welfare Puducherry said that the scholarship would be available for professional courses such as medicine, engineering, MBA, MCA and B.Ed.
The release said that the filled in applications which could be downloaded with information brochure from the website www.Desw.Gov.In should be submitted at the department on or before November 30.
