The 57-year-old singer was found dead at his Paisley Park estate yesterday and Garcia, who he wed in 1996, says the iconic star was her "everything," reported People magazine.
She said in a statement through her manager Gladys Gonzalez, "I can't even think of the words of what I'm feeling. This man was my everything, we had a family. I am beyond deeply saddened and devastated."
"I loved him then, I love him now and will love him eternally. He's with our son now," Gracia said.
The pair divorced in 2000.
