Speaking on the set of the advert for her new fragrance - also called Private Show - the singer revealed that the song and the scent compliment each other, reported Entertainment Tonight.
"'Private Show' is inevitably a sexy song and it promotes feeling sexy and girls feeling alive and I think that's fun for girls," Spears said.
"I think the scent definitely has a combination of all those things."
Spears previously released a seductive teaser for her latest track on Monday, giving fans a first taste of what to expect from her upcoming studio album, which is due for release later this year.
