Sethi, along with the BJP state vice-president and former chief of the outfit Sakina Bano was felicitated in a function in presence of BJP state president Jugal Kishore Sharma and senior officials of the party, party sources said here.
"Mahila Morcha is a very important organ of the party and the same is clear from party high command's decision to grant 33 per cent reservation to the women in its organisational setup," Sharma said while congratulating the new incumbent.
He said the party is committed for the political empowerment of the women at all levels so that they become party to the decision making bodies and play an effective role to ensure that legislations aimed at welfare of the women are framed properly and implemented in letter and spirit.
