Priyank, Parveen win in Snooker Masters North Zone

Priyank Jaiswal registered a come-from-behind victory over Akshay Kumar while Parveen Rathi hardly broke a sweat against Ayush Gwal on the fourth day of the RKG Snooker Masters North Zone championship, here today.
Madhya Pradesh's Jaiswal made a stunning comback after being two frames down to win 3-2 at the Megapool Academy in Dwarka.
Such was the intensity of the game that the last two frames were decided on the black ball.
Also emerging victorious were Chandigarh's Sameer Bhalla and Delhi's promising cueist, Parveen.
Parveen had an easy outing against statemate Ayush Gwal to win 3-0 and advance to the next round of the championship.

Bhalla trounced Uttar Pradesh's Vidit Agarwal 3-0.

Meanwhile, in a major upset, Delhi's Neeraj Bansal went down fighting against Jitesh 2-3 while another city boy, Chirag Khurana, lost to Maharashtra's Anand Raghuvanshi 0-3.
Delhi's Kamaldeep Amrit won against Ashish Gore of Maharashtra 3-0 while Jammu and Kashmir's Sumesh Turki beat the local boy, Abhay Sahni by an identical margin.
