Priyanka, daughter of Congress President Sonia Gandhi, arrived here today on a two-day visit to her mother's parliamentary constituency to take feedback from the office-bearers of the party's district, block and city units on the shortcomings in the organisation and ways and means to strengthen it.
Admitting that it was time for struggle, she said, all the workers would have to work under limited resources.
The workers told her that they would oppose the proposed amendments in the land acquisition bill at the tehsil level from January 19 to 22, party officials said.
Earlier, when she arrived here, a motorcycle rider came in front of her vehicle near the civil lines crossing when she was moving towards the Bhueymau guest house.
Police took the biker in custody but later he was allowed to go after a thorough questioning.
