Kalgi would be participating in the 100m race.
The meet, 'Universiade', organised by the International University Sports Federation, is conducted every two years, the university physical education director C K Kishore Kumar said in a release here.
He said it was for the first time the 34-year-old university was being represented in the Games.
In the selection for the Games at Patiala, Kalgi had won the gold medal, clocking 11.9 seconds.
She said she was happy about her progress in the last few years.
