Seeking votes for party candidate from the Coimbatore Lok Sabha seat P R Natarajan, Karat said non-Congress, non-BJP parties should come together to form an alternative government at the Centre.
Taking a dig at AIADMK, till recently its ally, Karat said it had been into opportunistic politics, while DMK was part of the corrupt UPA government and was still willing to join hands with the Congress.
CPI national secretary D Raja said BJP was wrong to project Modi as "superman", who could bring solutions to all the problems of the country.
