The party claimed that it has received complaints from residents of Dwarka that in at least 45 neighbourhood parks of the area, DDA has granted permission to set up mobile telecom towers and the installation work has been started.
"According to the DDA notification, it is clear that it is proposed to set up at least 450 such towers across Delhi.

It alleged that the DDA made the decision "under pressure" as no installation which poses a health hazard can be allowed in any residential area.

"According to the Rajasthan High Court verdict, upheld by the Supreme Court, radiations emitted from mobile base towers are hazardous to children and elder citizens. It had cited the findings of an inter-ministerial committee of the Central government, and directed relocation of these towers immediately.
"No tower should be installed in violation of established guidelines and without consulting the residents of the area," the statement said.
