"I have come to know of the incident and a probe has been ordered... Impartial action will be taken on the basis of the report.
"It would also be seen that those who purposely took law in their hands are punished... Administration had reached the spot and some police officers were also injured in the incident," Yadav told newspersons after a cabinet meeting here.
Several times when police and administration have taken right action, some parties have tried to take political mileage on the situation, the Chief Minister said, adding, "I will appeal to the people to be wary of it."
The 28-year-old woman, who was saved earlier in the day, allegedly hanged herself inside police station yesterday, triggering violence in which a youth was killed and the Superintendent of Police along with three policemen was injured.

Agitated over the incident, the woman's family and relatives had yesterday blocked Kotwali road and turned violent, indulging in brick-batting and firing. Police resorted to firing in the air and used tear gas to quell the mob.
Meanwhile, four policemen -- inspectors Ravindra Tiwari, Ashok Verma, and two constables Brahmadev and Kanaihya Lal Ojha of Kotwali Mehmoodabad were suspended by SP Rajesh Krishna in connection with the incident.
A magisterial probe by ADM Sitapur Sarvesh Dikshit into the incident has been ordered by DM Sitapur Suryapal Gangwar.
