Probe to identify govt employees violating rules

Punjab government today ordered a probe to identify government employees who have secured permanent immigration to foreign countries in violation of service rules.
Vigilance Bureau has been given two months time to identify the employees who have acquired Permanent Resident Visas/Green Cards/Immigrant Status in foreign countries.
The probe was ordered after reports surfaced that a large number of government employees have got residential status in other countries, a spokesman of Vigilance Bureau said.
