"Renault Nissan Automotive India will be closed for a week from May 22-29 2016 for planned annual maintenance", the company said in a statement here.
"The plant undergoes maintenance shut down twice a year to conduct repair and maintenance work in the months of May and December," it said.
At the beginning of 2016, the production at the factory, about 55 kms from here, reached "a milestone of one million cars," it added.
Recently, the factory began the third shift following the "strong demand" for the products, it said.
Renault rolls out various models from the factory, including the latest entry level hatchback Kwid, premium SUV Duster and MPV Lodgy, while Nissan produces the hatchback Micra and midsize sedan Sunny, among others.
