Under these projects concretisation of streets, sewerage, road infrastructure, clean drinking water and other facilities would be provided for facelift of rural areas, he said after laying the foundation stone of a railway overbridge here.
The railway overbridge here will be built at a cost of Rs 60 crore completed in a year, while the one in Kotkapura will be constructed at an expenditure of Rs 117 crore and be ready in one-and-a-half year.
He said free medicine shops would be operationalised in the next three months for the poor people and 33 such shops would be opened in Faridkot.
