Sources said that a proposal -- that may soon be tabled in the Cabinet -- has been mooted to provide office space to all state-recognised political parties in the national capital.
They also said that if the proposal is approved, AAP may be allotted a vacant building or flat.
"If the Cabinet clears this proposal, any state recognised party can apply for allocation of office space," said a senior government official.
At present, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) operates out of a three- storey rented building in the Patel Nagar area.
Both state BJP and Congress already have their offices in central Delhi.
