A proposal for 'seeding' Aadhar card with the voter identity card to prevent duplication and falsification was discussed today at a meeting of the Chief Electoral Officers at the Election Commission.
The meeting presided over by Chief Election Commissioner V S Sampath took stock of the progress in the proposal which also included linking details of the National Population Register with those of Aadhar and voter ID card.
Sources said efforts would be made to give a final shape to the project at the earliest.
