Positive about the outcome of the meeting, Avishek today said the structural programme was already drawn and approved at the BCCI working committee when his father Jagmohan Dalmiya was the Board president.
"I will put forward the proposals in the next (NADC) committee meeting consisting of five other members and we will see what best we can do to develop the sport in Manipur," Avishek said.
"They also need a budget stadium, a fullsize cricket ground and some qualified coaches. The recce was done two years back and based on the reports, the structure was drawn which later was approved at the working committee... So it will make a lot easier. I hope if those are implemented, their problems will be resolved," Avishek added.
The Manipur team comprised their vice-presidents Col (Retd) Soram Tekendrajit and Chongtham Chaoba; secretary S Priyananda Singh; joint secretary Khundrakpam Bijoy and executive member Kh Basanta Singh as they also met former India captain Sourav Ganguly, BCCI's technical committee chairman.
