The Indian Railways has postponed its planned closure of the PRS for Delhi, which was scheduled for later tonight, a statement from the Northern Railways said.
Yesterday, a statement from the national transporter had said that PRS Delhi will be closed for over six hours starting tonight at 10:45 pm.
Computerised public reservation system (PRS) enquiry will be closed from 10.45 pm on May 2 to 5.00 am on May 3 for upgrading the Delhi system, it had said.
"This is for the information of general public that the proposed temporary closure of Delhi Passengers Reservation System (PRS) aiming at maintenance related activities announced earlier by the Northern Railway for the intervening nights of 2/3 May, 2018, has been postponed till further advice," today's statement of the Railway's said.
