Russian prosecutors say that a nanny accused of killing and then decapitating a 4-year old girl in Moscow was not acting on her own.
The 38-year old woman from Uzbekistan was spotted outside a Moscow subway station Monday morning, brandishing the child's head.
Before a Moscow court sanctioned the woman's arrest for two months today, prosecutors told the court that they believe that individuals who "incited" her to carry out the slaying are still at large.
Investigators said the woman, who was the child's nanny, appeared to be mentally unstable.
In memory of the little girl who was killed, Muscovites have been placing flowers and children's toys outside the subway station.
