"The prosperity of the country should not be assessed by the GDP but by the all round development of its citizens which include both mental and physical development," the Chief Minister said after laying the foundation stone of an educational institution to be set up by Adichunchanagiri Shikshana Trust here.
Speaking on the aim of education, Yadav said education should develop inner self besides developing skills and he also promised to extend help to all organisations coming forward to expand education in the state.

A military school, press club and a medical college will be established in Amethi soon, he said.
The Chief Minister also inaugurated the long awaited Urermau-Mavai bridge on Gomati river linking Amethi with Faizabad district.
