Protest against Jat leader's derogatory remarks

A protest demonstration was held here today against Jat Aarakshan Sangharsh Samiti Hawa Singh Sangwan's reported derogatory remarks against Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar.
Loktantra Raksha Manch organised a one-day silent protest at B K Hospital Chowk in the heart of the city. It was led by Uttamraj.
Several leaders cutting across party lines attended the protest and sought strict action against the Jat leader.
Haryana Chief Parliamentary Secretary Seema Trikha of BJP, Congress leader Pandit Mukesh Sharma, and Dharmvir Bhadana of Aam Aadmi Party were among those who joined the protest.
Jat leader Sangwan had reportedly called Khattar a "Pakistani", drawing widespread criticism.
