Protest outside Egyptian embassy

A large number of people today protested in front of the Egyptian embassy here, demanding restoration of democracy in the Arab country, police said.
"Around 500 people gathered in front of the Egyptian embassy at around 4:00 PM. The protesters shouted slogans and carried placards for restoration of democracy in the country. They also demanded reinstatement of ousted President Mohamed Morsi," said a senior police official.
The peaceful protest continued till 4:30 PM and dispersed after police persuasion, he said.
