Police said the workers queued up at the railway station here to book the parcels to the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA) club in Chennai.
A Kumbakonam report said members of Kumbakonam Bar Association staged a demonstration in front of the court premises wearing dhotis to condemn the club's attitude for refusing entry to the Judge.
Association president R Shankar said advocates abstained from court proceedings for the second consecutive day today in protest over the club's action.
The judge, upon alighting from his official car at TNCA premises to participate in a book release function, organised by T S Arunachalam, a former Chief Justice of the High Court, was told by some club staff he could not enter wearing dhoti as they had instructions from office bearers not to allow anyone into the premises who violated the club's dress code.
Yesterday, the Tamil Nadu government had stated in the assembly that it would look into the issue and take action in consultation with its Law Department.
