Raising concern over the situation in Kashmir in the aftermath of Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru's execution, Panun Kashmir today asked the state government to provide adequate protection to residual Kashmiri Pundits living in the Valley.
"Adequate protection must be provided to residual Kashmiri Pandits living in the Valley, who have recently been threatened to leave Kashmir within a week by the terrorists," Panun Kashmir Convener Agnishekhar said at a function here.
Sporadic protests have been going on in many parts of Kashmir since the hanging of Guru on February 9. The situation deteriorated following killing of a youth allegedly in Army firing at Baramulla.
