The Budget session of Puducherry Assembly would resume March 25.
Speaker V Sabapathy has reconvened the Assembly to meet on March 25, official sources told PTI today.
The session began on March 11 with the customary address by the Lt Governor Lt General (retired) A K Singh and adjourned sine die after two days of debate on the motion of thanks to Lt Governor's address without reply from the government.
With the NITI Aayogo's nod awaited for fixing the plan size of Puducherry for the financial year 2015-16 it is likely that the House would go in for adopting Vote on Account (Appropriation) allocating funds for the first few months of the fiscal, the sources said.
The Planning Board of Puducherry had at its month in February prepared a draft plan seeking allocation of Rs 2,800 crores for the fiscal.
