"Chief Secretary M Sathiyavathi, PWD officials including the Superintendent Engineer from Karaikal will accompany me at the CRA meeting convened by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh," Rangasamy told reporters here.
Puducherry is among the riparian states relying on Cauvery water for its farm irrigation. As per the interim award of Cavuery tribunal, it is entitled to get six tmc water.
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has convened the CRA meet responding to the demands by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa and Rangasamy. Jayalalithaa has accused Karnataka, the upper riparian state, of not releasing water as per the interim award.
