Puducherry Speaker shifted to Chennai hospital

Speaker of Puducherry Assembly V Vaithilingam, hospitalised here following a fracture in his left leg, was today shifted to a private hospital in Chennai.
Vaithilingam had been admitted to the hospital follwing a request made by him, Health and Family Welfare Services Dr K V Raman told PTI.
He suffered the fracture while attending a function in his constituency here yesterday and was admitted to the government general hospital here.
Vaithilingam had undergone treatment at the same hospital for a similar fracture some years ago.
