The Arunachal Pradesh Tourism (Trade Registration and Regulation) Bill, 2016 would help in safeguarding the interests of tourists visiting the state and ensure sustainability of tourism growth in the state besides helping in formalizing the largely informal sectors of tourism industry through registration and certification.
Under the Bill, a few officers of the Tourism department would be vested with magisterial powers, including the power of compounding, in case of cheating, overcharging, harassment, pestering and touting faced by the tourists.
The Arunachal Pradesh Right to Public Services Bill, 2016 would deal with systematic and time bound delivery of services for all government servants.
It would also ensure right-based approach by empowering the public with the right to receive delivery of services within stipulated time lines.

The Bill would also enable the citizens to access government services and obtain information in a unified and simplified manner and enabled government to provide the required services seamlessly.
The House also adopted the motions moved by Parliamentary Affairs Minister Wanglin Lowangdong regarding election of members to serve the committee of Public Accounts, committee on Estimates and committee on Public Undertakings.
