Pulses decline on increased supply, fall in demand

Increased arrivals in the market and fall in demand at higher levels checked further rise in pulses prices at the wholesale market in the national capital today and prices dipped by Rs 100 per quintal.
Marketmen said apart from increased supplies in the market, fall in demand at existing levels, weighed on pulses prices.
Urad, its dal chilka (local), best and dhoya fell Rs 100 each to trade lower at Rs 9,600-10,700, Rs 10,700-10,900, Rs 10,800, Rs 11,400 and Rs 11,200-11,400 per quintal.
Moong, its dal chilka local, dhoya local and best dropped by a similar margin to Rs 7,800-8,400, Rs 8,400-8,800, Rs 8,700-9,200, Rs 9,200-3,9400 per quintal, respectively.
Malka local and best slipped by Rs 100 each to Rs 8,300-8,750, Rs 8,400-8,800, arhar and its dal dara also dipped by Rs 100 each to Rs 10,000-10,400 and Rs 11,600-11,800 per quintal.
