Marketmen said pick-up in demand from retailers mainly led to the rise in prices of select pulses.
In the national capital, masoor small and bold rose by Rs 200 each to Rs 5,500-5,800 and Rs 5,500-5,850, while its dal local and best quality were up by the same margin to Rs 6,500-6,600 and Rs 6,600-6,700 per quintal, respectively.
Malka local and best quality followed suit and enquired higher by Rs 50 each to Rs 6,200-6,500 and Rs 6,400-6,500 per quintal, respectively.
On the other hand, rajmah chitra and kabli gram small variety eased by Rs 50 each to Rs 4,250-7,850 and Rs 3,500-6,300 per quintal, respectively.

Urad and its dal chilka local declined by Rs 50 each to Rs 5,750-6,550 and Rs 7,250-7,450 per quintal, respectively. Urad dal best quality and dhoya traded lower by similar margin to Rs 7,450-8,050 and Rs 7,850-8,250 per quintal, respectively.
