Pulses remain steady in thin trading

The wholesale market remained steady today with most of pulses prices after moving in a tight range on some buying support closed at previous levels.
Arrivals and offtake too remained at a low ebb and volume of business restricted.
Marketmen said adequate stocks position against sporadic demand mainly kept pulses around previous levels.
Following are today's pulses rates per quintal:
Urad Rs 5,200-5,700, Urad Chilka (local) Rs 6,450-6,650, Best Rs 6,700-7,300, Dhoya Rs 6,950-7,350, Moong Rs 5,500-6,800, Dal Moong Chilka local Rs 6,750-7,250, Moong Dhoya local Rs 6,650-6,950 and Best quality Rs 7,450-7,550.
Masoor small Rs 5,150-5,350, Bold Rs 5,150-5,450, Dal Masoor local Rs 5,900-6,000, Best quality Rs 6,000-6,100, Malka local Rs 5,700-6,000, Best Rs 5,900-6,000, Moth Rs 4,100-4,400, Arhar Rs 4,200-4,350, Dal Arhar Dara Rs 5,500-5,800.
Gram Rs 2,750-3,450, Gram Dal (local) Rs 3,500-3,700, Best quality Rs 3,600-3,700, Besan (35 kg) Shakti bhog Rs 1,340, Rajdhani Rs 1,340, Rajmah Chitra Rs 5,000-8,500, Kabli Gram small Rs 3,800-6,400, Dabra Rs 2,700-2,800, imported Rs 4,700-5,100, Lobia Rs 4,200-5,800.
Peas white Rs 2,900-2,950 and green Rs 2,900-3,050.
